Is there anything more beautiful than a glowing bride standing against a truly breathtaking Canadian backdrop in her wedding gown? Our Real Bride, Brittany, exudes romance and elegance in her Alvina Valenta gown, and we couldn't have imagined a more stunning bride to wear this gown.
Brittany came into Cameo & Cufflinks with a large group of loved ones, and a very genuine, melodic personality. She didn't have any major specifications of what she wanted in her gown; she just knew she wanted it to speak to her. And speak it did! It didn't take her very long to know that her ivory, silk-satin, organza fit and flair Alvina gown with a fun tulle & horsehair bottom, was "the one".
Brittany said Yes to her elegant gown on her first trip into the store & embellished it with stunning accessories--some of which were purchased through Cameo & Cufflinks, others were borrowed, and some hand-crafted by the bride herself!
Brittany had these words of advice for future brides:
"The winner was dress #2! - first visit to the store, first time trying on dresses altogether.I would recommend brides keep an open mind and don't say no to anything while it's on the hangar.
At first I didn't want a mermaid fit, satin/sheen fabric, nor strapless...well, look what I ended up with!
I came away with something I never expected, and the dress I specifically went to try on completely fell flat (still have love for Hailey Paige though)
Once I saw my loved one's reactions to the dress and took a second look as if from their perspective...I had to throw away my "must-not have" list because the dress gave me reaction that everyone hopes to feel and receive from others - both on the day you first try it on and the day you walk down the aisle."
The blush & champagne bridesmaids dresses were custom made, and the navy & black are by designer Adrianna Papell. The groom wore Hugo Boss, and his groomsmen wore Calvin Klein by Moores.
